About Us

Hinton Rescue is a family run business with David and Janet Woolcott Co Directors. Son, Ian Woolcott, is the general manager.

Daughter Caroline is based at our large recovery depot in Whitchurch Bristol, and also acts as P.A to father David.

Hinton Garage started out in 1966 and became a limited company in the seventies. 

The name "Hinton" comes from the original location of the garage which was based in Hinton Charterhouse near Bath. Hinton has been a Vauxhall dealer since the 1970's.

In 2015 the Vauxhall Franchise premises was sold for further development, allowing investment to be made into the recovery department.
